SAP S/4HANA Defense & Security Functional Lead - SME

Location: Remote; U.S. citizenship is required where mandated by the applicable government contract, and the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

What you will do

• Lead SAP Defense & Security functional delivery for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation.
• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops, fit/gap assessments, and business process modernization discussions.
• Translate business requirements into SAP functional designs, configuration requirements, implementation roadmaps, and solution documentation.
• Provide functional leadership across solution architecture, configuration, integration, data migration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, developers, integration specialists, cybersecurity teams, and client stakeholders.
• Support Agile delivery, release management, stakeholder demonstrations, and mentorship of junior consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of SAP ERP functional consulting experience and 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Experience as an SAP Functional Lead, Senior Functional Consultant, or Subject Matter Expert on a large-scale implementation or ERP modernization initiative.
• Experience with Fit-to-Standard workshops, fit/gap analysis, functional specifications, cross-module integration, RICEFW/WRICEF, data migration, SIT, and UAT.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, stakeholder-management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required where mandated by the applicable government contract.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Defense & Security, Department of War, federal ERP modernization, or government agencies.
• SAP S/4HANA certification and experience with SAP Activate, Signavio, Fiori, BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or clean-core principles.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe, Jira, Azure DevOps, SAP ALM, MBSE, MDDI, SysML, enterprise architecture, or low-code platforms.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
