SAP Data Migration Consultant (S/4HANA)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design and execute SAP data migration strategies for S/4HANA implementations, including greenfield and conversion scenarios.
• Extract, transform, cleanse, enrich, validate, and reconcile master and transactional data from legacy systems.
• Configure SAP LTMC, custom migration objects, SAP SLT replication scenarios, logical systems, and hybrid SAP environments.
• Support system refreshes, landscape virtualization, mock migrations, dress rehearsals, final cutover, rollback planning, and runbook execution.
• Optimize large-volume data loads through parallelization, package sizing, and database tuning.
• Collaborate with functional teams and maintain architecture, configuration, operational, and troubleshooting documentation.

Requirements

• 12 or more years of SAP data migration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP LTMC, S/4HANA migration tools, and SAP SLT replication.
• Working knowledge of SAP LVM and SAP master and transactional data structures.
• Strong SQL, data analysis, validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Experience with S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementations.
• Exposure to SAP Data Services or other ETL platforms.
• Experience with high-volume, multi-source data migrations.
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA database structures.
• SAP S/4HANA certification.
