Principal SAP S/4HANA Architect & Lead

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA architecture, roadmap, and delivery strategy.
• Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Controlling, and financial reporting.
• Define Clean Core standards, SAP BTP extensibility, and API-led, event-driven integrations with Java and Python services.
• Lead S/4HANA upgrades, data architecture evolution, master data strategy, and large-scale transformation programs.
• Enable AI and machine learning use cases through SAP BTP, AI Core, and internal AI platforms.
• Govern platform health, data lifecycle management, release and transport processes, and architecture decisions while mentoring distributed engineering teams.

Requirements

• 15+ years of SAP experience, including 8+ years in architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) and enterprise implementations or upgrades from version 2021 onward.
• Strong command of SAP BTP, integration technologies, data architecture, and high-volume integrations.
• Experience integrating SAP with Java/Python microservices and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience leading onshore and offshore delivery models and enterprise architecture governance.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical roadmaps into business value for executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ILM and data archiving strategies.
• Experience enabling AI/ML in SAP or integrating external generative AI providers such as Gemini or OpenAI.
• Background in retail, ecommerce, or supply-chain-integrated environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerized environments.
