Senior Information System Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Provide information assurance and information systems security engineering services to internal and external customers.
• Design and implement security requirements within business processes and security architectures.
• Prepare System Security Plans, Contingency Plans, and compliance documentation using DITSCAP, DIACAP, and NIST SP 800-37 guidance.
• Develop and execute Security Test and Evaluation plans, vulnerability assessments, audits, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Secure system configurations, install and integrate security tools, and report compliance results.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, privacy requirements, risk management, and e-authentication initiatives.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with FS Poly required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience performing information assurance and information systems security engineering duties.
• Experience with certification and accreditation of information systems.
• Direct experience with NIST SP 800-37/RMF, DIACAP, NIACAP, or DCID 6/3 frameworks.
• Proficiency developing System Security Plans and performing vulnerability scans.

Nice to have

• CISSP, ISSEP, or CISM certification.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud security environments.
• Familiarity with automated compliance tools and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Experience with DataBricks, GitLab, or Jira in secure environments.
• Experience leading junior security analysts or engineers.
