What you will do

  • Lead mission analysis for upcoming flights, focusing on performance, trajectory evaluation, and flight readiness.
  • Maintain and extend 6DoF and 3DoF simulation environments to ensure analysis accuracy and reliability.
  • Execute Monte Carlo simulations to assess vehicle robustness and mission success probabilities.
  • Develop automated analysis pipelines, report generation tools, and post-processing frameworks.
  • Design and implement unit and integration tests within the CI/CD toolchain to support automated verification.
  • Serve as the primary GNC interface for the Mission & Launch Operations team and manage technical data interfaces.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in GNC mathematical modelling and algorithm validation.
  • Expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow for modelling and data analysis.
  • Strong background in orbital vehicle mission analysis and trajectory optimization using ASTOS or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and C/C++ for flight software development.
  • Deep knowledge of rigid/elastic body dynamics and orbit mechanics.
