Senior SAP ABAP Application Developer (SAP FI/SD)

Location: Must be local or willing to relocate to Houston, Texas, United States.

Salary: $82,08–$233,740 base compensation range.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and support complex SAP ABAP solutions across enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Build RICEF objects, ALV reports, workflows, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts, primarily for SAP FI and SAP SD.
• Develop integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, web services, and other SAP technologies, including data migration and conversion interfaces.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, architects, and client leadership to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Diagnose production incidents, resolve business-critical issues, and optimize application performance while meeting service-level expectations.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and support upgrades, enhancements, change management, and ITIL processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 7–10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong experience supporting retail clients and mission-critical business processes.
• Expertise in RICEF development, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, web services, and ALV reporting.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI and SAP SD modules, analytical troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Must be local to Houston, Texas, or willing to relocate to Houston.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation or migration programs.
• Knowledge of SAP integration and API-based architectures.
• Experience tuning ABAP performance and using advanced enhancement frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
