TL;DR
Sr Engineer – SAP Developer (SAP ABAP): Designing, coding, testing, and implementing complex ABAP applications, enhancements, and interfaces in the SAP S/4HANA environment with an accent on integration, performance, and upgrade projects. Focus on building reliable RICEFW developments, troubleshooting SAP integrations, tuning system performance, and providing technical leadership across business and technical teams.
Location: Remote work from Nebraska, United States
Salary: $84,000–$128,667 per year, plus annual incentive opportunities.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, document, and implement complex SAP ABAP applications, enhancements, interfaces, and RICEFW developments.
- Build and maintain CDS views, AMDPs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, object-oriented ABAP, user exits, BAdIs, enhancement exits, and Module Pool applications.
- Develop and troubleshoot synchronous and asynchronous interfaces using SAP Application Interface Framework and the SAP integration suite.
- Provide technical leadership and coordinate with technical and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust SAP solutions.
- Debug applications, monitor systems, tune object and interface performance, and support alert monitoring.
- Support SAP upgrade projects, including SPDD, SPAU, and SPAU_ENHANCE activities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Meaningful participation in at least one SAP S/4HANA project.
- Experience with SAP Forms/SAPscript, ALV reporting, function modules, RFCs, Web Services, interfaces, BAPIs, CDS views, AMDPs, and AIF.
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, analysis, system monitoring, test planning, and technical design documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
Nice to have
- SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS experience.
- Control-M scheduling and Agile methodology experience.
- Fiori, Gateway, SAP Workflow, BRF+, and SAP BTP Integration Suite experience.
- Experience with BPA, Build Code, and vals/subs configuration.
