D1 Metrology Equipment Technician (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the ATMC Metrology Equipment area.
• Maintain, repair, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication metrology and defect inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including consumable changes and preventive maintenance.
• Document maintenance activities and train others on equipment maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and internal and external groups to meet safety, performance, and reliability requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor metrology or defect inspection, with 8 years of semiconductor industry experience required for the maintenance function.
• Associate degree in electronics, industrial engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Technical maintenance experience in semiconductor manufacturing; an associate degree plus 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination may be accepted.
• Knowledge of SPC and FDC and their application to improve equipment performance.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours, work in confined spaces, and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
