Field Service Engineer

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The role requires local and outstation travel, an own car, and willingness to work at customer locations.

What you will do

• Install, qualify, maintain, and repair customer equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in person or remotely.
• Plan and execute service assignments according to company guidelines and professional standards.
• Maintain service tools and complete accurate service documentation and activity updates.
• Identify service contract and spare-parts opportunities and coordinate them with sales.
• Follow health and safety standards, complete assigned training, and support a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation and control engineering, or a related diploma with 2–3 years of field experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical control systems and mechanical systems.
• Valid driving license; a D and GDL license is an advantage.
• Own car for local and outstation work and willingness to travel outstation.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of oscillator usage, basic PLC systems, and the food and beverage industry.
