TL;DR

Field Service VII - Power (UPS): Responsible for startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs for UPS, battery, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment with an accent on coordinating projects, ensuring quality service delivery on time and within budget. Focus on maintaining customer listings accuracy, achieving high planned maintenance completion rates, and building strong customer relationships.

Location: Johor, Malaysia (daily travel to customer sites required, 25% travel, after hours and weekend shifts possible)

What you will do

  • Perform startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs on UPS, battery, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment.
  • Coordinate and manage assigned projects and planned maintenance to ensure smooth execution, on-time delivery, and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate customer listings and report any issues.
  • Promote and maintain excellent rapport with customers, salesmen, distributors, and service team.

Requirements

  • Location: Johor, Malaysia with daily travel to customer sites
  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in technical service or test environment for electrical/electronic equipment, UPS or power electronics preferred.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Clean, valid driving license.
  • Availability for after hours (post 17:00) and weekend shifts at short notice.

Nice to have

  • Previous field service experience.
  • Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to plan, organize, manage time, and work under pressure.
