Location: Seattle, Washington, or Denver, Colorado, United States

Salary: $149,600–$187,000 in Denver, or $167,200–$209,000 in Seattle, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts, including NDAs, confidentiality agreements, NRLs, joinders, and engagement letters.
• Act as the primary day-to-day legal contact for investment funds and asset manager clients.
• Maintain client playbooks and ensure consistent, high-quality contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals while reviewing their work.
• Identify opportunities to improve hirify.global’s legal technology suite using AI-backed tools such as Ava.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of post-law-school corporate or transactional legal experience.
• Independent experience negotiating pre-M&A contracts.
• Experience with asset managers, investment banks, or other financial services firms.
• Law degree and license to practice in the United States or Canada.
• Strong commercial judgment, concise communication, client focus, and the ability to manage work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with legal technology, AI tools, and platforms such as HighQ.
