General Counsel (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; onsite. Visa and work permit sponsorship is available.

Salary: $200,000–$350,000 plus equity.

hirify.global is building a liquid market for GPU offtake to reduce financing and customer risk in large-scale AI compute infrastructure.

What you will do

• Develop and oversee the legal strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, data privacy, AML/KYC, AI sales, and potential CFTC requirements.
• Advise on corporate governance, investor relations, fundraising, and equity and debt financing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate partnerships, vendor agreements, licensing deals, and other commercial contracts.
• Provide legal guidance on product development, intellectual property, risk management, litigation, and regulatory inquiries.
• Lead regulatory interactions, manage external counsel and legal budgets, and implement legal policies and training.

Requirements

• Senior legal leadership experience across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and product matters.
• Expertise in financial regulation, fintech compliance, data privacy, AML/KYC, and emerging AI regulations.
• Experience advising on corporate governance, fundraising, equity and debt transactions, and investor relations.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, including partnerships, vendor agreements, and licensing.
• Experience managing regulatory relationships, disputes, crisis response, intellectual property, and external counsel.
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco, United States; visa and work permit sponsorship is available.
