Data Engineer Intern (Azure, Power BI)

Location: Office-based in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; occasional work from home may be available for eligible positions after training.

What you will do

• Support data warehousing, business intelligence, and database development using Snowflake, SQL Server, and Azure SQL.
• Develop and maintain ETL and ELT workflows with dbt, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.
• Design, enhance, and support business intelligence reports primarily in Microsoft Power BI.
• Collect, analyze, and document user requirements for software and data solutions.
• Participate in software validation by developing, reviewing, and executing test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Support the full software development lifecycle and provide end-user application setup, installation, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in data engineering, databases, ETL/ELT, business intelligence, and software development.
• Ability to work in the Cincinnati office.
