Senior Water & Wastewater Engineering Project Manager (Water & Wastewater Infrastructure)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; hybrid work between office and field environments

Projected compensation: $170–$190+, plus stock equity based on applicable experience.

What you will do

• Lead complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects from scoping and planning through design, permitting, procurement, construction support, commissioning, and closeout.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams developing studies, master plans, design documents, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
• Manage relationships with municipal utilities, public agencies, private-sector clients, regulators, contractors, and subconsultants.
• Oversee project governance, quality assurance, risk management, regulatory compliance, budgets, forecasts, scope changes, and profitability.
• Mentor engineering and project delivery staff while supporting succession planning and professional development.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, client engagement, and infrastructure strategies focused on reliability, resilience, sustainability, and climate adaptation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or related engineering.
• 15+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Demonstrated ability to win work and maintain annual sales above $1 million.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office-and-field environment, including occasional exposure to weather, noise, hazardous conditions, and physical demands such as lifting up to 35 pounds.
