What you will do

• Own Treasury initiatives from planning through launch while aligning stakeholders and maintaining high quality standards.
• Build and improve backend services that manage funds flows between Lithic and external financial institutions.
• Develop and maintain ledger, ACH, wire, and reconciliation infrastructure.
• Improve system resilience, reliability, correctness, and scalability across mission-critical services.
• For senior-level engineers, lead architectural direction and solve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• Strong curiosity and ability to understand complex technical and business systems in depth.
• Structured approach to learning and building complete mental models.
• High autonomy, agency, urgency, and ownership of outcomes.
• Experience building distributed systems for senior-level roles.
• Proficiency with Python and cloud-native AWS services such as DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Must be located in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Poland, or the Czech Republic; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Prior experience in fintech or card payments.
