Associate Director, PMO

Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA; eligible for hire in select U.S. locations

Salary: USD 104,030–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead delivery of strategic creative projects and programs for clients and large brands.
• Manage program pipelines, staffing plans, workload prioritization, budgets, scope, timelines, and overall program health.
• Own program reporting, milestone tracking, risk identification, issue mitigation, escalation management, and root-cause analysis.
• Supervise project coordinators and project managers, including performance evaluations, goal setting, coaching, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with portfolio teams and stakeholders on client roadmaps, improvement plans, retrospectives, and process standards.
• Promote inclusive leadership and continuous improvement across project delivery teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience delivering and managing strategic projects and programs in an advertising agency environment.
• Strong program management expertise and experience executing diverse project types.
• Advanced risk management, stakeholder management, reporting, and program-level financial management skills.
• Experience leading high-complexity or high-visibility projects, working through ambiguity, and managing escalations.
• Team-building, mentoring, delegation, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and strategic partnership skills.
