Model Process Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $81,000–$95,000 annual full-time base salary, plus eligibility for annual incentive and equity programs.

What you will do

• Own the process playbook for model development, credit policy updates, approval flows, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Map current-state workflows and create consistent processes across business verticals.
• Maintain a centralized view of models in development and document handoff ownership at each stage.
• Identify sequencing risks, dependencies, and undocumented gaps before they cause rework.
• Serve as the operational point of contact for second-line credit and model risk management oversight.
• Coordinate with data science, credit, risk, compliance, engineering, and operations teams to implement lasting improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in process improvement, project coordination, or program operations in financial services, fintech, or a data-heavy environment.
• Understanding of how models are developed and deployed, with the ability to work effectively with data scientists.
• Experience working across technical and non-technical teams, including compliance, risk, engineering, and operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with precise documentation of ownership, status, escalations, and next steps.
• Demonstrated ability to identify root causes, improve processes, and drive adoption of new ways of working.
