Solution Architect (Digital Health)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; onsite work at the customer location when required

What you will do

• Translate business and technical requirements into robust solution architectures.
• Design application and integration architectures for secure, resilient, and maintainable digital healthcare systems.
• Define, communicate, and document architectural principles, technical guidelines, and decisions.
• Ensure coherence across applications, integrations, data, platforms, and development teams.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, modernization opportunities, and technical debt.
• Create technical alignment across engineering teams, architects, and multiple suppliers.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or highly experienced software developer with substantial architectural responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of software and integration architecture, distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architecture, and messaging.
• Understanding of identity and access management, application security, and compliance-driven solution design.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical decisions and communicate them clearly to different audiences.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams and creating alignment across organizational boundaries.
• Professional fluency in Danish, both spoken and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital healthcare, the public sector, or other highly regulated and business-critical environments.
• Experience working in multi-supplier environments.
• Knowledge of Java, REST, SOAP, Kafka, RabbitMQ, microservices, Domain-Driven Design, OAuth2/OIDC, OIOSAML, Infrastructure as Code, and containerized platforms.
• Experience with C4 models and Architecture Decision Records.
