Solution Architect - Data Management

Location: United States; Toronto compensation is available for candidates working in the Toronto region. The role follows a hybrid and flexible working model.

Salary: $125,000–$160,075 for Zone C, $135,000–$170,000 for Zone B, and $163,000–$186,200 for Zone A. Toronto compensation: CAD 170,000–CAD 205,675. The role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Define and lead delivery of data platforms, end-to-end pipelines, and system integrations.
• Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs, work packages, resourcing plans, and delivery timelines.
• Lead complex data integration, migration, orchestration, and transformation initiatives.
• Advise clients on operating models, technology architecture, business processes, and data engineering best practices.
• Present technical designs and implementation approaches to business and technology stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and coach developers and technical consultants while contributing to internal propositions and accelerators.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, data architecture, or related transformation roles.
• Hands-on experience with Master Data Management platforms such as Semarchy, Profisee, Reltio, CluedIn, GoldenSource, Eagle DM/PACE, or Gresham/S&P/Markit EDM.
• Strong data modeling experience across conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT, API-driven integrations, event streaming, and real-time data distribution using technologies such as AWS Glue, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, dbt, Kafka, Kinesis, or Event Hub.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms, data warehousing, data mesh, data products, Lakehouse architectures, data governance, metadata management, data quality, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with secure and compliant data architectures, Asset & Wealth Management, Agile delivery, and leading cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Erwin or ER/Studio.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica EDC.
• Knowledge of SEC, GDPR, and SOC2 requirements.
