Integration Architect (Java)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; in-person collaboration is prioritized.

Salary: €4,400–€6,000 per month

What you will do

• Design, develop, and integrate scalable solutions aligned with functional, performance, security, compliance, business, and technology requirements.
• Create architectural diagrams, data flows, and integration patterns using ESB, microservices, and event-driven approaches.
• Implement APIs, connectors, message consumers, transformation pipelines, and integration flows using Java or relevant languages.
• Translate business and technical needs into solution architectures, requirements, technical designs, and user stories.
• Establish integration standards, versioning, release management, documentation, peer reviews, and metadata catalogs.
• Monitor service health, implement alerting and disaster recovery, and conduct incident reviews and root-cause analyses.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing system integrations, including ESB and API gateways.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, JWT, WSDL, XSD, XML, JSON, ETL/ELT, messaging, and streaming data.
• Hands-on Java and SQL skills, preferably with Oracle, plus unit and integration testing experience.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, on-premise and cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, observability, GDPR, and information security.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Lithuanian and English; local security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• IBM webMethods Integration Platform and Oracle or PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, load testing, profiling, latency optimization, auto-scaling, and disaster recovery.
• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or similar certifications.
