Principal Data Architect (Snowflake)

Location: Onsite in Chicago, Illinois or Peoria, Illinois; up to 5% travel required. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.

Salary: $147,760–$240,110

What you will do

• Develop high-level data architecture deliverables that address business problems.
• Design system-to-system data flows, conceptual data models, and logical data models.
• Define target-state data architecture and transition roadmaps.
• Evaluate and deploy solutions that expand data product capabilities.
• Review detailed architecture deliverables for alignment with strategic data principles.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver digital and data solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of data architecture processes, techniques, and integration patterns.
• Strong analytical thinking and requirements analysis skills.
• Ability to develop IT blueprints and architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Extensive experience with data modeling and effective technical communication.
• Must be based in Chicago, Illinois or Peoria, Illinois; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience architecting cloud-based solutions with AWS or Azure.
• ETL knowledge.
• Snowflake knowledge.
• Semantic modeling experience.
