Physician, Obesity Medicine - Modified Full Time W2 (32 Hrs/Week) - MS (Telemedicine)

Location: 100% remote, but must be based in the United States; applicants must be licensed in Mississippi, Missouri, or Alabama and must hold or be able to rapidly obtain an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification.

Salary: $157,500–$168,750 USD annually.

What you will do

• Provide longitudinal direct patient care focused on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management.
• Manage an individual patient panel and collaborate with registered dietitians and the broader care team.
• Develop treatment plans, provide medical management support for complex cases, and prescribe non-controlled obesity medications.
• Support future APP collaboration through chart reviews, return visits, clinical feedback, supervision, and professional development.
• Maintain clinical documentation and follow established protocols and treatment pathways.
• Participate in rotating after-hours coverage, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with board certification and American Board of Obesity Medicine diplomate status.
• Active licensure to practice and prescribe in Mississippi, Missouri, or Alabama is required.
• Multi-state practice capability through a valid Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification or eligibility to obtain one rapidly after hire.
• Prior telemedicine experience and strong patient-facing communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians.
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based obesity management and excellent interpersonal skills.
