Salary: $146,100–$187,000 in San Francisco; $145,100–$185,900 in Mountain View; $126,600–$162,100 in Sacramento.

What you will do

• Build strong working relationships with project teams and ensure timely, accurate cost information flow.
• Research current cost performance and prepare revenue, expense, forecast, and reconciliation analyses.
• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations.
• Perform variance analysis, identify deviations from project plans, and report findings.
• Track budgets, internal accounts, management spreadsheets, and data queries.
• Identify competitive trends and present insights to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8 years of experience in accounting, cost controls, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, analytical methods, and project cost management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to self-manage in a changing environment.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting hirify.global requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience working within a regulated utility.
• Proficiency with Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Familiarity with related field concepts, practices, and procedures.
