What you will do

• Lead global data operations teams and provide 24x7 production support coverage.
• Manage production incidents, root-cause analysis, service restoration, and operational governance.
• Oversee production deployments, release validation, change management, and rollback processes.
• Maintain reliable real-time and batch data pipelines across AWS and Google Cloud platforms.
• Drive observability, monitoring, alerting, automation, SLA management, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with engineering, DevOps, architecture, security, business stakeholders, clients, and executives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms and complex engagements.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, EMR, and Redshift.
• Experience with Google Cloud services including BigQuery, GCS, and Pub/Sub.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Kinesis, Talend, dbt, Apache Airflow, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Strong background in production support, incident management, monitoring, observability, automation, SRE practices, and release management.
• Ability to work onsite in Chicago, United States.
