TL;DR

Sr. Manager, Technical & Facilities Operations (Portfolio Governance/Capital Planning): Leading governance, planning, and performance management for technical operations, facilities initiatives, infrastructure projects, and capital investments with an accent on portfolio transparency, investment prioritization, and executive reporting. Focus on analyzing complex financial and operational data, managing risks and dependencies, and guiding resource allocation across a large enterprise portfolio.

Location: Onsite at 229 W 43rd St, New York, NY, USA. External candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview at a company location.

Salary: USD 120,000–150,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead governance and day-to-day management of the enterprise portfolio covering technical operations, facilities, infrastructure, and capital investments.
  • Establish intake, prioritization, review cadences, decision forums, dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting routines.
  • Analyze project health, budgets, resource requirements, capital utilization, risks, issues, dependencies, and operational impacts.
  • Partner with technical operations, facilities, finance, procurement, PMO, and business leaders to align investments and delivery priorities.
  • Prepare and lead executive governance meetings, steering committees, investment reviews, and decision-support presentations.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop portfolio or PMO team members while driving continuous improvement of governance practices and reporting tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, management, information systems, construction management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in portfolio management, PMO leadership, capital planning, technical operations, facilities management, program management, or related roles.
  • Experience with portfolio governance, project and program management, capital planning, financial analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Ability to analyze complex portfolio, financial, and operational data and translate findings into actionable leadership recommendations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, portfolio reporting tools, and project or portfolio management systems.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of people leadership or experience leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Experience with capital portfolios, infrastructure programs, facilities initiatives, or large-scale operational projects.
