TL;DR
Senior AI Engineer (Azure): Building production-ready Generative AI and Agentic AI applications within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem with an accent on Azure AI Foundry, RAG architectures, knowledge graphs, and enterprise data integration. Focus on designing agentic workflows, evaluating LLM applications, optimizing retrieval and reasoning, and taking AI prototypes into production.

What you will do
- Design, build, and deploy production-ready Generative AI and Agentic AI applications using Azure AI Foundry.
- Develop agentic workflows with agents, tools, skills, orchestration patterns, APIs, enterprise systems, and data sources.
- Build and optimize RAG architectures covering retrieval, grounding, context management, chunking, embeddings, and vector search.
- Implement graph-based retrieval and knowledge graph approaches to improve reasoning and information access.
- Work with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services to connect AI applications with enterprise data.
- Develop evaluation frameworks, troubleshoot production systems, and contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Agentic AI workflows, and RAG architectures.
- Experience with graphs or knowledge graph approaches, chunking and embedding strategies, and AI agents, tools, and skills.
- Practical experience with LLM and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Strong software engineering skills, ideally with Python, and experience integrating LLM applications with APIs, enterprise systems, and data sources.
- Experience taking AI prototypes into production and understanding modern Generative AI application architecture.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable Azure data platforms and Azure-native AI services.
- Background in financial services, banking, lending, insurance, or related industries.
- Experience with AI observability, governance, responsible AI, CI/CD, cloud-native development, multi-agent architectures, semantic search, or vector databases.
