What you will do

• Analyze monthly financial statements, property performance, market comparables, and variance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with third-party property management groups to improve site team performance and respond to market trends.
• Support rent pricing, marketing programs, contract negotiations, and additional-income initiatives.
• Coordinate capital projects, including bid reviews, vendor negotiations, contract execution, and project supervision.
• Participate in annual budgeting, internal reporting, weekly management presentations, and property visits.
• Assist with due diligence and escrow activities for property acquisitions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of broad-based multifamily asset management experience; market-rate and affordable housing experience is desirable.
• Experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and capital improvement planning.
• Knowledge of real estate asset management, portfolio optimization, value creation, contracts, leases, and leasing objectives.
• Ability to manage bids, vendors, contractors, competing priorities, and multiple stakeholder relationships independently.
• Strong communication, organization, initiative, professionalism, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with lead-tracking programs is expected.
