Facilities Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Fisher-Price campus in East Aurora, New York, United States

Salary: USD $19–$22 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain indoor and outdoor campus facilities, including play spaces at off-site locations.
• Perform deliveries, pickups, room setups, office setups, and layout-based equipment arrangements.
• Move machines, office furniture, and other equipment for facility and event setups.
• Complete minor repairs on facility machinery and equipment while assisting electricians, building mechanics, and plumbers.
• Provide backup support for mailroom, shipping, and copy services.
• Respond to snow removal needs and work overtime on short notice when required.

Requirements

• At least one year of related work experience and a high school education or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in elevated or confined spaces and in unfavorable weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects for extended periods.
• Experience handling chemicals or compounds and knowledge of office safety procedures and equipment.
• Computer experience with MS Word, Outlook, and the internet.

Nice to have

• Experience with movable office modular systems.
• Experience operating a forklift.
