Support Engineer for Software Application

Location: Hybrid work model in Warsaw, Mazovia, Poland

What you will do

• Provide third-level technical support for assigned software applications and document support cases for further analysis.
• Support cloud-related infrastructure topics and assist with software product testing, smoke tests, and validation activities.
• Support customer projects and market organizations with application installation, system architecture, implementation planning, configuration, and on-site or off-site deployment.
• Prepare technical documentation, knowledge base articles, training materials, and instructional videos.
• Train market organizations and end customers and provide pre-sales technical support.
• Cooperate with Product Managers and R&D on customer cases, specifications, and new software versions.

Requirements

• Technical education in electrical engineering or IT, preferably with additional advanced training, and 2–3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience in technical support engineering, software installation and maintenance for production processes, root cause analysis, and structured problem solving.
• Experience supporting large, distributed client-server systems using TCP/IP, MS SQL databases, Windows Server, virtualization, and web services.
• Experience deploying, securing, and operating container-based systems such as Docker or Kubernetes on private or public clouds, including Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of distributed systems, computer architecture, microservices, load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, and networking.
• Good spoken and written English, strong customer service skills, and experience working in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SQL, MS SQL Server, REST API, OPC, Node-RED, computer-system validation, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Basic ability to write JavaScript and T-SQL scripts.
• Experience in industrial environments, production-process IT systems, or field technician work.
• Interest in using AI for troubleshooting.

Hiring process

• Initial one-hour video interview with the Manager and Recruiter.
