What you will do

• Develop technical solutions for Packet Core infrastructure and services, specifically for cloud-native production and 5G-SA.
• Prepare procedures for the complete service lifecycle and act as a primary contact for planning and system integration.
• Oversee the development, quality assurance, and maintenance of product releases for complex projects.
• Define and implement strategies for automated planning, integration, and delivery using harmonized automation frameworks.
• Elaborate new deployment strategies and disaster-recovery concepts aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with operations teams to improve process efficiency and drive digitization in support processes.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in a Telco environment within system engineering or operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Packet Data Core systems and ePC/5GC architecture, interfaces, and call flows.
• Long-standing experience in 2nd or 3rd-level support for Mobile Packet Core systems.
• Proficiency in both classical and agile cooperation models.
• English: Very good command (written and spoken) is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenStack.
• Knowledge of Helm, Istio, Prometheus, and Flux.
• Expertise in microservice architecture and maintenance of cloud-based applications.
• Experience with monitoring systems and trace analysis.
• Knowledge of automation and machine learning.
• Basic German language skills.
