What you will do

• Install, configure, and manage Linux-based application servers, software, hardware, and network tools.
• Administer user accounts, access controls, backups, security measures, and system performance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve operational problems to maintain availability.
• Plan, test, and implement upgrades, fixes, patches, and new platform versions.
• Maintain technical documentation and propose infrastructure improvements aligned with technology strategy.
• Coordinate and mentor less experienced colleagues while contributing to strategic planning.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Unix/Linux administration and application server management.
• Practical knowledge of JBoss EAP, Kafka, Camunda, Elastic, RHEL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience operating large-scale Linux server environments.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting methodologies.
• Fluent Czech is required.
• English sufficient for technical documentation and support communication is required. Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, plan strategically, and mentor colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, Git, Argo CD, VMware vSphere, and broader Red Hat or VMware technologies.
