What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and integrate embedded firmware for storage devices and HDD products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define firmware requirements and hardware/firmware architectures.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to internal projects that improve firmware maturity and workflow efficiency.
• Contribute to next-generation storage technologies, including HAMR.
• Improve development processes, tools, and engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and firmware development.
• Understanding of secure coding practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Coursework or project experience in AI/ML, including data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of storage systems, file systems, or hardware interfaces.
