What you will do

• Design, code, debug, and maintain firmware for embedded systems using C, C++, and assembly.
• Troubleshoot and optimize embedded code to ensure high functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Integrate firmware with analog and digital hardware designs and support OS-level interactions.
• Collaborate with hardware, electrical, and systems engineers on design reviews and integration.
• Document technical issues, fixes, and improvements for cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in firmware, software, or embedded systems engineering.
• Proficiency in C, C++, assembly, and machine language.
• Understanding of embedded systems, operating systems, and microcontroller architectures.
• Must be able to work onsite in Tucson, AZ.

Nice to have

• Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, Bluetooth, and TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of interfaces including RS-232, RS-485, USB, and Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience with ESP32 and PIC microcontrollers.
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically GitLab.
• Basic PCB design skills using tools like Altium or KiCad.
