TL;DR
AV Support Technician (Crestron/Video Conferencing): Providing in-person and virtual L1/L2 support for audiovisual systems, meeting rooms, and enterprise and government clients with an accent on incident resolution, hardware diagnostics, and onsite service readiness. Focus on troubleshooting complex AV environments, coordinating L3 engineering responses, maintaining room and inventory readiness, and supporting installations when needed.
Location: Onsite in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. Must be eligible to work in Canada and located in the Greater Toronto Area. Working hours may include evenings or weekends based on business and client needs.
Salary: CAD 70,000β85,000 per year.

What you will do
- Respond to, assess, document, and resolve L1/L2 audiovisual incidents in line with service levels.
- Connect to, manage, and diagnose AV hardware while coordinating onsite and L3 engineering support when required.
- Provide white-glove onsite support for meetings, meeting rooms, and a defined user base.
- Prepare and complete field visits, including reviewing service history and confirming parts, tools, and equipment.
- Inspect meeting rooms, maintain onsite inventory, and complete field-service processes.
- Support staging, installations, certifications, and technical team overflow as needed.
Requirements
- Several years of AV installation or support experience, including the ability to read and understand AV design drawings.
- Experience with Crestron DM/NVX, Biamp Tesira or QSC, Cisco codecs, video-conferencing systems, wired and wireless microphones, MS Teams, Zoom, Windows, and Office 365.
- General networking knowledge, including TCP/IP protocols and network switch configuration.
- Service-oriented experience supporting B2B customers.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and located in the Greater Toronto Area.
- Willingness to obtain required security clearances and confidentiality agreements; able to lift moderate to heavy materials, work at height, and use ladders. A personal vehicle and G license are required.
