What you will do
- Lead central laboratory projects from conception through close-out, coordinating planning, execution, timelines, scope, budgets, and resources.
- Serve as the cross-functional and client-facing lead for new and ongoing clinical studies.
- Coordinate data management, inventory control, shipping procedures, data gathering, reporting, and project meetings.
- Monitor project performance, revenue, expenses, billing, metrics, and contracted deliverables; escalate variances and out-of-scope work.
- Assess and mitigate technical, project, business, and operational risks while ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and client expectations.
- Maintain project documentation, improve processes, provide internal project management consulting, and mentor junior Project Managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience as a Project Manager for central laboratories within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.
- Fluent spoken and written English with strong listening, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and emotional intelligence skills.
- Strong project management, data analysis, critical thinking, research, reporting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to work remotely from Poland, Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, or the UK and travel domestically and internationally approximately 10–25%.
