What you will do
- Lead dry lab and bioinformatics operations projects from planning through delivery.
- Develop project plans, dependency maps, risk registers, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate bioinformatics, software engineering, clinical operations, and product stakeholders.
- Translate analytical and computational requirements into executable project deliverables.
- Monitor timelines, risks, validation readiness, and other project performance metrics.
- Support documentation, audits, validation activities, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, life sciences, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of project management experience, including technical, software, or dry lab projects.
- At least 3 years supporting bioinformatics, data, or healthcare technology initiatives.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional projects involving technical and clinical stakeholders.
- Experience with data pipelines, analytical workflows, laboratory informatics platforms, system integrations, and validation in regulated environments.
- Experience with Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies and project management or issue-tracking software; Jira is preferred.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, life science, or a related technical field.
- PMP certification or an equivalent project management certification.
