Reporter, Transportation & Mobility

Location: Remote within the United States. Salary eligibility depends on the candidate’s U.S. location.

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Anchor the weekly Future of Mobility newsletter.
• Break news and produce distinctive analysis on executives, policymakers, companies, regulators, and competitors across the mobility ecosystem.
• Cover the impact of AI, electrification, autonomous driving, technology policy, tariffs, geopolitics, and China’s automotive industry.
• Develop a strong public profile as an authority on transportation and mobility issues.
• Participate in live interviews and public events while collaborating across teams to produce high-quality content.

Requirements

• Reporting experience in a fast-paced news environment.
• Demonstrated ability to land major scoops and develop high-impact story ideas.
• Strong writing skills for digital publications and newsletters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to command a stage and conduct live interviews.
