Solution Engineer (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Support end-to-end technical sales engagements for one strategic financial services account.
• Build and deliver demonstrations and solution presentations aligned with customer data challenges and business objectives.
• Design and execute proof-of-concept engagements covering risk analytics, regulatory data platforms, fraud detection, customer intelligence, and AI/ML workloads.
• Develop knowledge of the customer’s data architecture, cloud environment, and technology stack.
• Partner with the Account Executive on RFP responses, commercial discussions, deal activity, and technical blockers.
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Support, Product, and customer technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales solution engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting in enterprise B2B technology.
• Experience with financial services data use cases such as risk management, regulatory reporting, fraud analytics, or customer data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and live demonstrations of complex data solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, including writing and debugging scripts and building PoC pipelines.
• Clear communication skills for technical and business audiences within financial institutions.
• English proficiency is required; the role is based in London and follows a hybrid work format.
