Location: Onsite in Burnfoot, Ireland. Travel required: 10%.

What you will do
- Lead sustaining engineering priorities, technical issue resolution, design updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Guide, coach, and develop a small team of engineers.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to resolve design-related production issues.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to improve quality, manufacturability, and operational readiness.
- Oversee engineering changes, including bills of materials, drawing revisions, and release accuracy.
- Support new product introduction, hiring, and onboarding activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, sustaining engineering, manufacturing design support, or a related function.
- Strong experience with 3D modeling, 2D drafting, manufacturing processes, and cross-functional technical problem solving.
- Experience with design for manufacturability, root cause analysis, engineering changes, bills of material, drawing revisions, and product lifecycle management systems.
- Ability to coach, mentor, or guide engineers through formal or informal technical leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

- Experience with engineered-to-order products, sheet metal, copper design, or similarly complex manufacturing environments.
