What you will do
- Participate in production support, including line/audit support, equipment and fixturing development, and Gemba-based continuous process improvement.
- Lead the installation, troubleshooting, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Provide technical solutions for manufacturing design issues via analysis and hands-on interaction with peers and suppliers.
- Create and maintain critical equipment documentation, such as EB, EDST, IQ protocols, and PMs.
- Perform NCMR investigations and ensure accurate engineering handovers between shifts.
- Manage engineering team activities, including task assignment, mentoring, and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering (or a Master's degree).
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience, ideally within MedTech or a related sector.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Galway, Ireland.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with strong attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Experience in product characterization testing.
- Knowledge of SAP and Agile.
- Experience performing people management tasks.
