What you will do

• Lead sustainable design strategies for both new product introductions (NPI) and existing products (MP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to steer early-stage architectural decisions toward low-carbon designs.
• Execute strategies to reduce carbon footprints, advance product longevity, and optimize material recovery at end-of-life.
• Establish technical guidelines and standards to streamline lifecycle-conscious development across the organization.
• Architect data-driven tools to quantify, visualize, and report on product carbon footprint and circular design.
• Mentor colleagues across various functions to foster a culture of collective responsibility toward climate commitments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical product development with a broad understanding of the full hardware lifecycle.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, materials, and electronics design and their influence on sustainability.
• Proficiency in lifecycle thinking, sustainable design principles, and carbon reduction optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies.
• Fluency in 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) and data visualization.
• Proven ability to drive results within multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Degree in Industrial Design (ID), CMF Design, UX Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
