AWS Cloud Infrastructure Senior Engineer/ Tech Lead

Location: Hybrid, with the official location in The Hague, Netherlands; the team works from the office every Wednesday.

Salary: €5,933–€7,910 per month based on a 40-hour workweek, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead the modernization and continuous improvement of the AWS Cloud Foundation platform.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable, standardized, and automated cloud foundations across more than 750 AWS accounts.
• Monitor AWS releases and implement relevant services and features.
• Improve automation to reduce operational workload while maintaining platform stability and security.
• Run operations and participate in standby support for the foundation every 5–8 weeks.
• Work with AWS enablement, Azure foundation, and public cloud teams on enterprise-scale cloud capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience implementing AWS cloud solutions.
• Experience with Platform as a Service, Python scripting, Terraform, and CDK.
• Knowledge of architecture and platform or solution design.
• Experience working with enterprise stakeholders and large multi-account environments.
• Recent AWS certifications.
• Ownership mindset, structured decision-making, calm execution, and the ability to keep the team focused.
