Manufacturing Partner Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: George Town, Penang, Malaysia; must be based in Penang with legal work rights.

What you will do

• Manage strategic and day-to-day engagement with assigned electronics manufacturing services partners across cost, quality, delivery, inventory, capacity, and operational performance.
• Support RFQs, manufacturing award decisions, volume allocation, sourcing strategy, and cost reduction initiatives through financial and capacity analysis.
• Lead contract manufacturer quarterly business reviews, including scorecards, executive presentations, performance assessments, and action tracking.
• Support new product introduction strategy through site selection, capability assessments, production readiness reviews, and manufacturing ramp activities.
• Resolve supply chain, quality, fulfillment, and operational issues while driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Prepare executive reporting on manufacturing performance, risks, opportunities, capacity planning, and network optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, operations, supplier management, or program management.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and global supply chains.
• Experience with cost analysis, supplier performance management, and sourcing activities.
• Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities; must be based in Penang with legal work rights.
