TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (Java): Building and operating scalable, reliable platforms with an accent on Java and Spring Boot development, automation, and secure delivery. Focus on designing CI/CD pipelines, improving observability and disaster recovery, and optimizing distributed, containerized environments.
Location: Fully remote from anywhere within the Philippines, with at least 6 hours of daily overlap with AEST/AEDT; flexible hours are available outside the overlap period.

What you will do
- Write and review code that improves platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated releases.
- Ensure operational readiness through monitoring, performance analysis, reliability, and disaster recovery practices.
- Automate infrastructure and operational workflows across virtualized, containerized, and distributed environments.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Installs, and Support teams to deliver production-ready platforms.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or software development.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with containerization, orchestration, virtualized or distributed environments, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile delivery.
