TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (OpenShift/Docker): Delivering and maintaining an internal applications platform for ING engineers with an accent on production automation, infrastructure as code, security, and full-stack monitoring. Focus on automating VM and container configuration with Ansible, operating Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and managing incidents, problems, changes, and risk controls.
Location: Bucharest, Romania (hybrid work from home or the Dacia One office)

What you will do
- Deliver, maintain, automate, deploy, and operate the Internal Applications Platform for ING engineers.
- Provide level 2 application support and monitor the complete technology stack.
- Implement security policies across operating system, database, and application server layers.
- Perform incident, problem, and change management, including writing user stories to resolve problems.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD processes using the internal private cloud, virtual machines, and OpenShift.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code and automated configuration management with Ansible for VMs and containers.
Requirements
- Mandatory knowledge of Bash or shell scripting, Docker, Oracle, Nginx, and OpenShift.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with production systems, application support, monitoring, and security operations.
- Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management, as well as risk-control evidence.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD practices.
Nice to have
- Ansible and Azure DevOps experience.
- Java, Scala, or Kotlin knowledge.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field.
