DevOps Engineer III - Payments

Location: Remote, but candidates must live within approximately 70 miles of an office in Allen, Texas; Louisville, Kentucky; Springfield, Missouri; or Monett, Missouri. An onsite interview or in-person onboarding may be required.

What you will do

• Participate in software development lifecycle activities, including research, prototyping, design, documentation, development, and defect fixing.
• Design and implement deployment automation and configuration management solutions.
• Develop software and automation scripts using appropriate scripting languages and agile design-build-test practices.
• Construct, improve, and maintain automated deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, operations, and quality assurance teams while communicating progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a specialized engineering role, apprenticeship, internship, or combination of these.
• Experience with SQL and Datadog.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell, Java, NodeJS, and Azure DevOps or Jsource.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for one week every eight weeks.
• Basic skills in system deployment automation, configuration management, software design, analysis, and problem resolution.

Nice to have

• Experience or working knowledge of Octopus and fintech.
• Experience with multi-project analysis and design.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
