What you will do

• Lead M&A transaction execution from opportunity assessment through signing and completion.
• Assess financial performance, strategic fit, risks, value drivers and commercial considerations.
• Coordinate legal, tax, finance, capital, HR, strategy and commercial due diligence.
• Prepare governance papers, transaction recommendations and presentations for senior approval forums.
• Support investment teams with business cases, valuations, financial models and transaction scenarios.
• Negotiate transaction terms and documentation while managing stakeholders, timelines, risks and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Strong M&A transaction execution experience in corporate development, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting or a similar environment.
• Excellent financial analysis, valuation and modelling skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and identify trends.
• ACA, ACCA or CFA qualification, or equivalent technical financial capability.
• Experience in financial services, asset management or insurance is highly valuable.
• Strong communication skills and confidence presenting deal rationale to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Ability to work at pace, manage ambiguity and collaborate through complex transaction processes.
