What you will do
- Lead the production and development of reporting and management information packs for flash reporting, month-end close, and planning cycles.
- Produce forecasts and strategic four-year plans in partnership with Finance Business Partners.
- Review and challenge material exceptions, reconciliations, and financial performance commentary.
- Create scenario models and provide analysis for business and financial planning decisions.
- Strengthen controls, process improvement, and reporting quality across the Centre of Excellence.
- Support junior colleagues and build strong relationships with cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Finance professional with a track record of growth and achievement.
- At least five years of technical experience in month-end reporting, planning, forecasting, analytical review, reconciliations, and financial control.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyse, challenge, and influence decisions relating to business financial performance.
- Understanding of Oracle and/or finance systems and software.
- Ability to work in the Edinburgh hybrid pattern, attending the office at least two days per week or 40% of working time.
