What you will do

• Set front-end technical strategy across two to three Account Experience teams, covering architecture, component systems, and implementation.
• Own the architecture, state management, and performance characteristics of a complex, data-dense merchant platform.
• Shape the front-end architecture of hirify.global AI Companion as a first-class conversational merchant interface.
• Build shared component and design-system foundations across Account Setup, Monitors, Workflows, and Auditing.
• Lead engineers through code, design reviews, technical mentorship, and cross-team collaboration.
• Partner with Product, Design, and backend engineering while owning accessibility, performance budgets, and front-end observability.

Requirements

• Demonstrable staff- or principal-level experience setting front-end direction across multiple teams.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React, with experience architecting complex, long-lived web applications.
• Strong skills in large-scale state management, performance optimization, accessibility, and component-system design.
• Ability to reason about APIs and services and collaborate effectively with backend engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a remote-first environment with disciplined asynchronous communication.
