Lead Software Engineer, Oracle EPM

Location: Onsite in Miami, Florida, United States. The role requires 10–20% travel.

A large homebuilding corporation providing residential construction, financial, and technology operations.

What you will do

• Manage, administer, and support Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including monthly and quarterly close processes.
• Design and implement EPBCS web forms, business rules, financial reports, and application modules.
• Build data integrations, metadata and data loads using Data Management and Data Integration tools.
• Develop calculation scripts, Groovy scripts, EPM Automate workflows, and REST API integrations.
• Translate business, financial, and process requirements into scalable EPM solutions in partnership with Solution Architects and Project Owners.
• Lead testing, troubleshooting, end-user training, continuous improvement, and stakeholder presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle EPM Cloud modules, including PBCS/EPBCS, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, and FCCS.
• End-to-end implementation experience across requirements gathering, configuration, design, development, testing, and go-live.
• Hands-on experience with application builds, security setup, metadata and data loads, report writing, ETL, and SQL queries.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and Hyperion environments.
• Ability to work in waterfall, hybrid, or agile delivery environments and communicate with users, clients, executives, and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCMCS and ARCS.
• Knowledge of IBM Showcase Warehouse Builder Sets, FDMEE, and DRM Oracle tools.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio and Essbase on Oracle and SQL Server environments.
• Experience training less senior associates and supporting application standards.
